Air Tightness Consultant

My client is a well-established and expanding integrated engineering, environmental, and building consultancy with a strong 50-year presence in the UK market. They specialise in managing a diverse range of projects across the country, providing comprehensive environmental assessments and consultancy services. Their expertise includes Air Tightness testing, Sound Testing, and Breeam assessments, offering clients a broad spectrum of support.

Requirements:

  • A BSc degree or equivalent in building engineering, acoustics energy, or environmental science
  • Experience in air tightness testing or a related field and/or holding the CWCT qualification
  • Possession of a full UK driver's licence
  • Proficiency in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Assisting clients in resolving defects and ensuring regulatory compliance for their projects/developments.
  • Attending regular meetings with key stakeholders from design and contractor teams to assess designs and review findings from inspections.
  • Collaborating directly with clients and other key members of the acoustics team to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Preparing and structuring reports and supporting documents to offer a comprehensive assessment of design and monitoring issues during the initial construction phases.
