We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as an Animal Support Officer to work for a well-established charity based in North West London. This role is permanent, full time and shifts will be Tuesdays - Saturdays. The salary is negotiable and will be based on experience.

As the Animal Support Officer, you will be providing outreach animal welfare support in the community. You will be visiting various venues, pet owners and pets with your main focus being to provide information, advice and support with good animal welfare practice.

You will travel to venues in the community in an animal ambulance and provide support to pet owners and other organisations.

The successful candidate will have

  • Excellent knowledge of good animal welfare practices
  • Extensive experience of handling and working with dogs and cats
  • Proven experience building relationships and engaging a range of stakeholders
  • A clean driving license and willingness to drive one of our animal ambulances regularly
