As an Anti-Social Behaviour and Nuisance Investigator, you will play a crucial role in resolving cases of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and nuisance, ensuring that residents feel safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations into ASB and nuisance cases while collaborating with various internal and external partners.
- Manage casework effectively, employing a range of interventions and enforcement powers to tackle crime and ASB within the borough.
- Coordinate with enforcement officers and police to gather evidence and prepare legal case files for court proceedings.
- Provide guidance and support to housing providers in managing and investigating ASB issues, ensuring a cohesive approach.
- Engage residents and stakeholders in service development to enhance community safety and reduce the impact of ASB.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of local government service provision, multi-agency collaboration, and anti-social behaviour legislation.
- Proven experience in handling crime and ASB casework, including evidence collection and legal documentation.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Understanding of Environmental Protection or Noise and statutory nuisance, alongside Housing legislation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work flexibly as part of a team.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Good literacy skills for drafting clear and concise reports.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
