Quest Search & Selection are currently partnering with investment management business based in HK. The fashion supplier mainly operates with customer in the mid-market high street sector, in Women's ,Men's and Childrenswear covering multi-product. Most of their client are south and central America and is now looking to find new retailers and wholesalers in the UK.

The role of sales agent will be responsible for selling manufactured garments to fashion buyers from wholesale and retail markets in the UK & EU market.

Key responsibilities of this Apparel sales agent:

  • Solicit orders from both new and prospective customers within a designated geographical area.
  • Build and maintain a robust client base through exceptional customer relationships.
  • Identify and meet with potential clients, including retail and wholesale agents of small fashion boutiques, to facilitate product purchases.
  • Market and sell manufactured garments, accessories, and other fashion products to wholesale and retail fashion buyers.
  • Provide clients with samples, catalogues, and illustrations of the company's product offerings.
  • Create and implement effective marketing and advertising strategies to boost sales.
  • Oversee all aspects of export sales, including achieving sales and margin targets.
  • Respond to product inquiries from clients and listen to their concerns.
  • Promptly address and resolve any product-related issues.
  • Conduct surveys, analyse data, and prepare proposals for both new prospects and existing clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with current fashion trends to offer relevant product recommendations to clients.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
  • Understand product quality standards, factory facilities, ESG, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on strategies and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with CEO-level clients and external design teams.

Key requirements of the Apparel sales agent:

  • You must have B2B sales within the basic apparels.
  • You must have experience working as an agent or distributor within the fashion/supplier or wholesale sector.
  • Experienced in developing new business opportunities in the UK and EU markets.
  • Skilled in working with business contacts, agents, distributors, and wholesale partners.
  • Have a broad understanding of current fashion trends, including production costs and product quality.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Capable of developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Proficient in using sales and marketing tools, such as CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
