We are seeking an Architectural Assistant - Part 2 to join a multi-award-winning property and construction consultancy. This role offers involvement in a diverse range of projects across various building types and sectors, including world-class technical facilities, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, educational institutions, offices, and private one-off commissions.
Due to growing demand for their expertise, they are now looking for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join the experienced Architectural team based in central London.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in formulating project briefs and communicating these effectively to colleagues
- Carry out design studies and proposals for review
- Collaborate with other design team members
- Ensure design proposals comply with the latest building regulations and technical standards
- Apply a practical and methodical approach to problem-solving, working within fixed budgets and deadlines
- Assist with planning applications and Building Regulations
- Inspect building work on-site
Experience and Skills Required:
- Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant with a minimum of a 2.1 degree
- Part 1 qualified Architectural Assistant
- Exceptional visualisation skills
Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD & Revit
- SketchUp
- Rhino (including DIVA and Grasshopper for Rhino)
- Enscape
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
