Job Title: Associate - Derivatives & Collateral Operations

Contract Duration: until 31st March 2025

Location: London/Hybrid

Daily Rate: 220 PAYE

Our client, a prominent player in the industry, is seeking a talented Associate to join their dynamic team. What You'll Do:

  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of BAU and other daily team tasks, adhering to operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide exceptional service and resolve issues and queries in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, suggesting enhancements and implementing changes where appropriate.
  • Foster positive relationships internally and externally, promoting a customer-centric culture and creating value for all stakeholders.
  • Support new system upgrades and development by participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and escalating any issues as needed.
  • Adhere to bank policies, best practises, and compliance procedures, keeping up-to-date with applicable regulations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a related role, demonstrating a strong understanding of derivatives and collateral operations.
  • Knowledge of futures margining, reconciliations, and cleared margining.
  • Familiarity with derivative products, such as CDS, IRS, CCS, caps/floors, and ISDA documentation.
  • Understanding of EMIR and other relevant regulations governing derivatives operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel, capable of manipulating financial data with ease.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable, with a collaborative approach.

Requirements:

  • A-level education or equivalent qualification.
