About the Role

As an Associate Director Building Surveyor, you'll play a key role in expanding the consultancy's expertise in party wall matters, retrofit solutions, and ESG initiatives. Ideal for a client-oriented professional, this position will see you managing a diverse project portfolio and mentoring junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing quality standards for building projects to ensure they meet specifications and comply with regulations.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, addressing quality expectations, and effectively resolving any issues.
  • Leading pre- and post-contract work, including contract administration and project oversight.
  • Conducting detailed building surveys and assessments, compiling compliance reports, and producing rental and capital value reports.
  • Performing regular site inspections to verify adherence to plans and industry standards, collaborating with stakeholders to address quality-related issues.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Chartered Building Surveyor with 4+ years of experience, ideally in residential and educational sectors.
  • Confident in a client-facing role with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Skilled in quality assurance processes, knowledgeable of building regulations, and experienced in contract administration.
  • Strong communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
