Are you an experienced and highly organised Attendance Officer looking for your next opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a secondary school in Hackney in their search for an Attendance Officer to help improve and maintain student attendance and punctuality.

This large, modern secondary school is easily accessible-just a short bus ride or a 10-minute walk from the nearest underground station.

PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates with previous school attendance experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage student attendance and punctuality records
  • Identify and address attendance concerns with students and families
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and school leadership to resolve attendance issues
  • Collaborate with the pastoral team and external agencies to support student engagement
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare reports for leadership and external bodies
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience as an Attendance Officer in a secondary school (essential)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Proficiency with the SIMS system (essential)
