Role & Responsibilities

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality services. Your responsibilities will include:

Audit (50%)
  • Leading and managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
  • Conducting risk assessments and designing effective audit strategies.
  • Preparing audit reports and presenting key findings to clients and partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards and regulations.
Accounts (50%)
  • Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Reviewing financial statements, working papers, and disclosures for accuracy.
  • Assisting clients with general accounting queries and providing technical advice.
  • Preparing corporation tax computations and returns, and liaising with HMRC when necessary.
What We Are Looking For
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience).
  • Proven experience in audit and accounts preparation within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
  • Experience working with property clients is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CCH software is an advantage.
