Job Purpose Summary:The AV Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for testing and commissioning AV systems within educational and corporate premises throughout London.
Key Responsibilities:- Test installed AV systems to ensure full functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed systems
- Configure control systems and DSPs as needed
- Upload pre-written programmes onto control systems
- Occasionally attend service and maintenance visits
- Provide on-site training for clients on how to best utilise installed equipment
- Obtain client sign-off upon project completion
- 1+ years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of audiovisual control systems such as Crestron, Extron, and AMX
- Strong knowledge of audio DSPs such as Biamp, QSYS, and Shure
- Full right to work in the UK
- A Full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential)
- CTS certification
- Manufacturer certificates in any of the above control systems or DSPs
- Salary between £35,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
- Overtime rates up to 2X
