Your new companyI am currently working exclusively for a Higher Education Institute based in London who are looking to urgently bring in an experienced AV Support Engineer to join their Infrastructure department providing AV technical support across all of their meeting/lecture rooms. The Role:

  • Type: Contract
  • Day Rate: £200 - £300 p/d inside IR35
  • Length: 3+ months
  • Location: Central London
  • Hybrid working

Your new roleAs an AV Support Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist AV manager with AV related projects and/or installations
  • Ensuring all meeting room equipment is operational and undertaking repairs as required
  • Facilitating users with computer outputs to AV equipment
  • Setting up video/audio conference equipment and enabling users
  • Designing and implementing AV solutions for various events

What you'll need to succeedKey experience and skills required:

  • Strong understanding of Audio Visual systems and IT networking.
  • Has experience of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues independently.
  • Excellent customer service awareness, communication and coordination, a strong ability to promote implementation.
  • Previous or current experience contracting within the public sector (higher education being ideal)
