Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced AV Engineer with strong IT and communication skills for a contract role in the City of London.
The position requires at least 5 years of experience in AV support or similar roles, along with 3 years of technical expertise.
The role involves managing AV infrastructure, supporting a VIP customer, and contributing to a new office fitout project.
The contract is onsite 5 days a week and has been deemed outside IR35.

Role: The ideal candidate will be seconded to a VIP customer, working onsite at the customers London offices on a Full time basis. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the customers:

Primary Technical Site contact, independently managing AV infrastructure but will be called upon to assist with any technical requirements (eg Network devices, end user support etc)
AV estate comprising of Cisco AV hardware (Room Kits, Codecs etc), Control/Integration Systems (eg Crestron), TVs & Mics.
Level 1 management of network infrastructure (firewalls, Switches etc). Management and support of network devices is handled by another party but you will be expected to contribute to onsite troubleshooting and overall management as required.
Supporting customers IT team, end users and VIPs.
During the initial 3-6 months you must also contribute to the technical project management of a new office fitout, being the technical lead between suppliers and the customer. Technical aspects will range from AV fitout, cabling, LAN/WAN and more.

Skills Required:

5+ years in AV support or similar roles
3+ years technical expertise working
Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
Comfortable working in high pressure environments
