We are working on 12 months fixed contact working directly for a global legal organisation. We are searching for an experienced AV specialist with a drive for continuous service improvement and a solid experience in implementing and supporting AV services, to join our team.

You will focus on leading project delivery working with third-party AV integrators, standardising the delivery process and documentation, and ensuring these standards are adhered to.
You will provide third-line support of the AV services globally, building the capability in the second- and first-line teams, acting as a mentor to upskill the teams.
You will work with the regional Technology colleagues to strengthen the local teams capability to support the AV services in the firm so that collectively we can provide the best service to our clients, lawyers, and business team colleagues.
Due to the global reach of the team, the role will occasionally be required to work outside the core UK hours to support colleagues in Asia and America as well as travelling to sites for project delivery or issue resolution.
About You

5 years in an AV Specialist / Engineer role.
Have experience managing projects with the AV integrators and room commissioners.
Knowledge of hybrid event spaces including platforms like vMix, audio, video, and lighting equipment in both digital and analogue.
Demonstrate good technical knowledge and experience in AV technologies and systems (Audio Systems & Processing such as Amps, DSPs, mics, and audio reinforcement, Ceiling Array Microphones (Sennheiser/Shure), display systems, and video conferencing solutions (Cisco and Interoperability)).
Have experience working with Design Drawings to verify and validate systems are installed and working as expected.
Have experience with intelligent building technologies such as IP Security, Lighting systems and HVAC etc.
Have practical experience in installing and configuring AVoIP technologies such as Crestron NVX, Lightware Taurus, configuring and troubleshooting Dante-enabled network devices.
Good understanding of network principles, such as VLANs, DHCP, Subnets, ACLs, Firewalls, and patching.
Have team leading and mentoring experience.
An effective communicator, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, and adapt styles as situations require.

Established just over an 18 months ago, the Workplace Technology team is a small but growing team. The team is responsible for these three primary service pillars:

Workplace technology, such as Audio Visual (AV) services in meeting rooms and common areas and digital signage.
Continuous Improvement via AV projects (Design and Management), Vendor implementation management, upgrading the existing AV estate to meet the Global Standards.
Real-time communication platforms via Cisco Video conference units - MS Teams being the primary platform for voice and collaboration, in addition to Zoom, Webex, Google Meet
