Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in an acute hospital setting. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient recovery and rehabilitation in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in an acute hospital setting, managing complex caseloads.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to patient care and teamwork.
