Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in an acute hospital setting. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to patient recovery and rehabilitation in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Develop and deliver personalized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate and support patients, their families, and carers throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and actively contribute to discharge planning.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience in an acute hospital setting, managing complex caseloads.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to patient care and teamwork.
