We are seeking a dedicated Barbering Trainer to work on-site, delivering Level 1 and 2 Barbering qualifications to small groups of prison-based learners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing skills, knowledge, and behaviours in learners, supporting their long-term goals and aspirations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in Barbering Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
- Work closely with learners, providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in barbering.
- Monitor and assess learners' progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages learner engagement and motivation.
- Excellent barbering skills with a willingness to compare techniques and continually improve.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within barbering.
- Hold a degree or equivalent subject specialist qualification, or have a willingness to work towards this.
- Proven track record of teaching to a good or outstanding standard.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring learners.
