Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Enfield. This rewarding role is available for an immediate start, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives while fostering their social and emotional growth.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with behavioural challenges. Your key responsibilities include:

• Providing Individual Support: Offering one-on-one assistance in classrooms to help students stay engaged.
• Promoting Positive Behaviour: Maintaining a visible presence around the school and encouraging a productive learning environment.
• Managing Incidents: De-escalating situations and teaching students self-regulation techniques.
• Supporting Independent Study: Supervising students in the isolation room to ensure they stay on-task.
• Overseeing Detentions: Managing and supervising detention sessions.

This full-time, term-time-only role runs until July 2025, with the potential to become a permanent position.

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have Relevant Experience: Prior experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar school-based role is essential.
• Are Confident and Compassionate: Display strong boundary-setting skills while offering empathetic support.
• Are Organised: Possess excellent administrative abilities; familiarity with SIMS is a bonus.
• Are Reliable and Caring: Provide consistent support to create stability for students.
• Are Active and Engaged: Be prepared for a physically active role, patrolling corridors and responding to student needs throughout the day.
