We are working with an Alternative Provision School in Lewisham that are requiring a Behaviour Mentor to support students on a 1:1 basis. The students you will be supporting needs close support to help keep them engaged within lessons as they struggle to retain focus

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will need to be confident working with the class teacher to help manage the students behaviour within and outside of the classroom, so previous experience supporting children with Learning Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours would be very desirable.

This role is to start ASAP on a full-time basis, until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

What the school are looking for in their Behaviour Mentor:

  • Experience supporting children within an Alternative Provision, PRU or School setting.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs is very desirable.
  • Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
  • Must have completed safeguarding training
