Roles and responsibilities - Behaviour Support - Tower Hamlets
- Assisting in identifying pupils in need of support and providing them with support
- Providing one-to-one mentoring sessions to identified students
- Develop strategies for pupils to better manage their behaviour in order to help them succeed at school
- Preparation of action plans for learners as part of the learning process
- Liaising with the SENCos on a regular basis
- Keeping track of the progress of the students and monitoring the behaviour of the students
- Providing support to families in the form of liaisons
- Assisting pupils with challenging behaviours to develop and use strategies that will help them to manage their behaviour and support them.
- Developing an action plan with students that outlines the aims of the mentoring program and outlines how the plan can be achieved.
