Location: Barking, London (Hybrid)

Overview: Concept are delighted to be partnering with a pioneering company who are at the forefront of revolutionising energy efficiency across the UK.

About the role: My client are looking for a dynamic Bid Manager who will take charge of the overall bidding process as they bring the function in house. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities by managing the end-to-end bidding process, from research and evaluation to submission and post-bid analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Bid Manager will have ultimate responsibility for collating all the required input(s) to produce compelling bid documents that will realise a step-change improvement in the firm's bidding conversion rate.
  • Be responsible for managing an opportunity from EoI/qualification through to contract award.
  • Gather feedback on past bids to continuously improve future submissions.
  • Chair bid planning meetings and lead bid/no bid decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in bid management, open on experience but advantageous if it is within the energy efficiency or construction sectors.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce high-quality narrative under tight deadlines.
  • Be able to build strong relationships and influence at all levels, across specialisms and with senior colleagues.
