Bid and Tenders Support Administrator Salary: 27,000 - 29,000

Location: Farringdon, City of London

Hybrid: 2 days in the office / 3 days working from home

A successful and leading management consultancy and recruitment practice in the public and not-for-profit sectors is urgently recruiting for a Bid and Tenders Support Administrator based in Farringdon. Responsible for the co-ordination of bids and tenders.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for co-ordinating the arrangements for submitting bids and tenders.

  • Supporting liaison between the Bids & Tenders Manager and other team members, ensuring timely inputs as required;
  • Co-ordinate bid production activities for selection questionnaires
  • Writing some parts of the bid, ensuring high quality, consistent and compelling writing;
  • Ensuring submission of bids in accordance with deadline and format requirements;
  • Ensuring that bid co-ordination processes function effectively.
  • Responsible for checking tender portals and inbox for new opportunities and clarifications on existing tenders
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and supporting materials for bid presentations and client meetings.
  • Maintaining insight into competitors' bidding approaches and sharing relevant market intelligence with others at the practice;
  • Tracking and updating relevant information on 'New Work' project pipeline from proposal to appointment stage.
  • Weekly companywide updates outlining weekly performance in proposal submission, work won, and work lost.
  • Analysing data and producing reports to the Finance Director.
  • Working alongside the senior team and directors to provide administrative support on projects
  • Document storage and management in line with GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Scheduling and attending frequent project meetings
  • Formulating and formatting reports and document as and when required

Essential:

  • Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and understanding through experience.
  • Good Administration experience
  • Proven experience in working within bids or proposals advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector bidding advantageous.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Experience of handling numerical/information data sets.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and meet tight deadlines
