About the CompanyThis leading global investment management firm in Central London is looking for a dynamic and energetic Team PA with fluent German. Supporting the wider team on this fast paced, high achieving German desk you will be providing varied support to a team that is regularly travelling to Europe and further afield. As a Team PA you will need to have a high energy and a real interest in providing high level support to the team along with  a sense of urgency and ability to pivot when changes happen.About the roleAs one of several Team PAs you will be supporting a team of 8 partners and associates on the desk (some need more support than others) so you will need to be highly organised across multiple diaries and able to manage busy schedules and adapt to quick changes that inevitably occur. The German team travel extensively so there will be multiple travel arrangements including all logistics across their travel to Europe and the wider global offices. Lots of times things change at last minute so you need to be able to redirect!  A lot of the travel is to Germany and so you will liaise with clients and stakeholders on the ground and be regularly using your German. This is very much a team environment where the Team PAs support each other and cover any absences on the desk so a flexible approach is essential for this role. You will also need to be a proven communicator as your team may often work in the German office so you will need to be able to stay on top of their diaries and any changes.Responsibilities
  • Day to day complex scheduling and diary management for a team of 8 partners and associates
  • Meticulous planning of travel and complex itineraries across multiple timezones
  • Support to the PA team during absences (very flat structure in the office)
  • Liaison with the other teams across the global offices as required- particularly France, Germany and Switzerland
  • Working closely with the wider PA group
  • Onboarding new team members on the team as required
Required Skills
  • Proven experience as a Team Assistant supporting a team across their diaries/travel
  • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a Team Assistant or Team PA role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • German/English – fluency in both languages is essential for this role
  • Experience from within any industry sector – longevity, attitude and aptitude are key!
  • A team player, resilient, confident and super friendly
  • A can-do attitude is key. No sharp edges or high ego!
  • A desire to take ownership of your role and go above and beyond.
