I am currently partnering with one of my top, international Law Firm clients to help assist with their recruitment for a temporary Billing Analyst.

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone early on in their career to join a highly reputable firm and develop their Finance career!

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide billing and related support within the Accounts Department.
  • To maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm's existing clients ensuring that procedures are followed.
  • Provide support to the Partners and Fee earners with bill processing and other administrative tasks as required
  • Review and edit pre-bills in response to requests
  • Produce accurate bills in accordance with instructions
  • Prompt despatch of bills via email/post/e-billing
  • Attention to detail to ensure compliance with UK VAT and SAR's
  • Process time transfers and time edits
  • Process time and disbursement write-offs in accordance with Firm policy
  • Client and matter housekeeping
  • Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month
  • Review and verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
  • Liaise with Credit Control as required
  • To assist with special projects as required

Key requirements:

  • Educated to A level standard to include Mathematics
  • Possess effective communication skills coupled with the ability to work closely with Partners and senior staff in London and other overseas offices.
  • Be able to work unsupervised to strict deadlines, and have the ability to prioritise and manage workloads.
