Are you an experienced BIM expert with experience of managing BIM/CAD team members? This is an opportunity to join one of the most reproable commercial office fit out M&E contractor in London. They have a reputation for delivering fast pace fit out projects for the UKs leading fit out contractors. The business has just been acquired by a new managing Director who has aspirations to significantly increase the turnover and over the past 12 months have managed to grow their client list even further.

About the role of BIM Manager

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM and CAD standards, templates, and work flows.
  • Manage 3D and 2D modelling for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the design, construction, and client teams regarding BIM and CAD processes.
  • Evaluate and implement new BIM/CAD tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Prepare, review, and issue construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements for the BIM Manager

  • Demonstrate the right experience that lends itself to overseeing 5 Cad Technicians, 2 of which work remotely.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM/CAD management, preferably within the MEP sector.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Proven track record of leading BIM/CAD teams and delivering successful projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and highly organised with ability to prioritise and manage busy workload.
