Job: Binders Claims Handler
Salary: £50,000
Location: Hybrid Essex/ Home
Lloyds Broker looking for a Claims Handler to deal with a caseload of binder claims.
Classes of business will include a mixture of Non-Marine claims including Property, Liability, Professional/ Financial Risks.
- Handling of Binder Claims from notification through to settlement
- Assisting the insured in presenting their claims to Insurers
- Assessing available cover and whether the circumstances meets the notification threshold
- Advise and update clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim.
- Assessing the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
- Build and maintain your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge.
- Efficiently running claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
The successful candidate should have previous experience within a similar Claims role with good knowledge of handling binder claims.
Role will be a mixture of working between Chelmsford, London and home based.
