Bitumen Emulsion Sprayer Driver Job Overview:
The Bitumen Sprayer Driver will be responsible for the efficient operation of bitumen sprayer equipment, ensuring the accurate application of bitumen emulsion on road surfaces. This role is critical in delivering high-quality surfacing projects on time and to specification. The successful candidate will work closely with our project teams to ensure the smooth execution of all bitumen spraying tasks.
Bitumen Emulsion Sprayer Driver Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bitumen sprayer equipment to apply bitumen emulsion on various road surfaces.
- Ensure the correct application rate and uniformity of bitumen spraying to meet project requirements.
- Conduct pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on bitumen sprayer equipment.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and project managers to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Report any equipment issues or defects to the maintenance team.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience operating bitumen sprayers or similar equipment in the construction industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bitumen products and their applications.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to bitumen spraying.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights if required.
- NPORS or equivalent certification in bitumen spraying (preferred).
