About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer with a focus on Schneider Electric systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, commissioning, and support of BMS systems, with a strong emphasis on Schneider Electric solutions, including but not limited to EcoStruxure and other Schneider BMS platforms. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent client communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Configuration:

    • Develop BMS solutions tailored to client needs using Schneider Electric systems, with a focus on energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
    • Prepare functional design documentation, wiring diagrams, and system architecture drawings.
    • Configure BMS controllers, sensors, and other devices within the Schneider Electric framework.
  • Installation and Commissioning:

    • Conduct system installation, integration, and commissioning on-site.
    • Test and calibrate all BMS hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, security, and other building systems.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to BMS network architecture, controllers, and field devices.
  • Project Management Support:

    • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
    • Maintain project timelines, track milestones, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Maintenance and Support:

    • Provide technical support for installed Schneider Electric BMS systems, responding to client queries and providing on-site or remote troubleshooting as required.
    • Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
  • Client Training and Handover:

    • Prepare user guides and provide training sessions for clients on the effective use of BMS.
    • Ensure a thorough handover process, including documentation of system configurations, testing results, and warranty information.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Proven experience working with Schneider Electric BMS systems, including EcoStruxure or other relevant platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of building control systems and HVAC equipment (e.g., air handling units, chillers, VAV systems).
    • Familiarity with building automation protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
  • Programming Skills:

    • Proficient in BMS programming and configuration within the Schneider Electric ecosystem.
    • Experience with integrating third-party systems and devices into Schneider platforms.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly and efficiently.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Project and Time Management:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to timelines and deliverables.
    • Experience in coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
