Client: Global Specialty Insurer

Our client, a global specialty insurer, is seeking an experienced Bordereaux Manager to oversee the management, development, and execution of their bordereaux (BDX) processing framework. This role requires someone with expertise in VIPR Intrali and solid understanding of Master Data requirements, ready to ensure the smooth handling of BDX across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the BDX framework: Oversee the mapping, loading, and processing of all claims and premium bordereaux, ensuring consistency with company Master Data requirements.
  • Team leadership: Delegate tasks, balance workloads, and manage the performance of the BDX processing team.
  • Ensure data quality: Address any data validation errors, escalate issues with third-party providers, and ensure proper controls are in place.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with finance and other teams to ensure deadlines are met, regulatory requirements are followed, and SOX controls are adhered to.
  • Customer focus: Ensure the BDX processing function treats all customers fairly and maintains high service standards.
  • Data management: Oversee data security, accuracy, and timely processing while troubleshooting system issues and liaising with third-party providers.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Expertise in VIPR Intrali and understanding of Master Data requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience delegating tasks and balancing workloads.
  • SQL proficiency and an ability to troubleshoot complex data validation errors.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations (CBI, FCA/PRA) and SOX compliance.
  • Experience working with third-party providers to resolve BDX mapping issues.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
