Your new companyYour new job working as a Bordereaux Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas, they have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Operations team, a permanent position for a Bordereaux Technician has arisen.
Your new roleYour new job working as a Bordereaux Technician will be mainly third-party bordereaux focused, so you will require knowledge of processing bordereaux/E2I's/Profit Commissions and bordereaux submission to the IMR. Duties include providing a first-class service to all coverholders in all aspect of their insurance arrangements, provide support to management and the training to team members where required, assisting with and production and analysis of daily / weekly and monthly reports relating to KPI's within the team. Further duties will also include checking formal documents for accuracy prior to processing and issuance of formal documentation to clients and markets, submitting Policy documentation to signing offices, processing transactions, producing debit/credit notes and bureau submissions where required and handling and resolving client and queries in respect of both Policy and Premium issues. You will also produce Endorsements, Binding Authorities and Slips, maintain statistical information and electronic filing system is up to date and accurate, assist with ad hoc duties and work as part of a team to test and implement new systems.
What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience as a Bordereaux Technician in a similar role within the London Insurance Market will contribute to your success. You will have experience of processing and submitting to IMR. You will have a willingness to develop your knowledge, attention to detail, an ability to make own judgement and high verbal and written communication skills. You will also have an ability to find innovative solutions and work without supervision, check documentation and data with high accuracy, prioritise workload and manage time, work within a team under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
