Your new companyYour new Brokers are a small independent Lloyd's broker committed to supporting its business partners across MENA and Europe with a wide range of insurance and reinsurance products and services. They look at problems differently and solve them by integrating experience and expertise obtained through serving, broking and supporting clients. Due to growth, there is an opportunity for a Junior Broker/Broker technician to handle multiple classes of International business working five days in the office.Your new roleWorking as a Broker/ Broker Technician will be a 360 role where you will be responsible for handling International New Business and Renewals in a broking capacity, Slip and Endorsement generation for all types of policies, backend processing of companies Lineslips and Broking into Lloyd's and company markets. Duties will include placing a variety of niche risks from all over the world into Lloyds as well as the associated processing into the PPL system, relating PPL activities (uploading own created documents) and you will be the face of the Brokers. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to be in the office 5 days a week and happy to work in a very small broking house.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience working within the Insurance industry, preferably Lloyd's London Market, will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be a hungry, bold and hardworking individual willing to learn and grow within the business. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in slip production and front office broker support.What you'll get in returnYou'll be offered a competitive salary which is negotiable depending on experience.
