You'll be working for a heritage charity located in the South East, delivering various projects with a small but highly skilled team of indivuals.
Your new role
The successful candidate will assist in all aspects of property repair, maintenance, and improvement, while performing general building surveying duties, such as:
- Creating specifications
- Carrying out Inspections/defect diagnosis
- Administering/overseeing works in progress
- Complying with H&S regulations
- Tendering
- Coordinating with contractors
- Managing projects
- Liaising with different stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
- Member of the RICS with a proven track record of professional competency
- Previous experience of surveying / property management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations
- Strong MS Office skills, CAD and ability to learn and use different systems
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Must have your own car and a clean driving licence
