My client is a leading contractor who specialise in cable jointing as well as testing and commissioning. They work across a variety of sectors - including railways, and are industry known and trusted. In this role, you will be conducting a varied list of duties - from terminating and jointing various cable types, testing and inspecting cable joints, cable jointing work on MV and HV and sheath and pressure testing. You will be primarily working across the Southeast - however occasionally you will be expected to travel across the UK and Europe (Expensed).

This is the ideal role for a cable jointer experienced in at least 11kV looking to upskill by receiving manufacturer training, career progression and skillset expansion. You will want to work for an organisation committed to employee development, and who provide a generous package including bonuses and private healthcare.

The Person:

  • Experienced in Cable Jointing.
  • Experienced in at least 11kV
  • Some level of related qualifications.
  • Southeast Based
  • Experience on a variety of cable types.

The Role:

  • Cable jointing on 11 and 33kV systems.
  • Testing, inspection and commissioning of cables and power systems.
  • Varied duties list - sheath and pressure testing, phasing, fault finding and more.
