If so, Signature Recruitment is looking for a Campus Ambassador to work within a prestigious Higher Education setting in London. This position is offered on a temporary, full-time basis and is fully campus based.
In your role, you will work within a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional experiences. You will act as the point of contact within public spaces to assist students, staff, guests and visitors by delivering a warm welcoming and informative presence. You will take responsibility as custodian of the establishment and proudly help all users with wayfinding, knowledge of campus activities and other general questions and queries. In addition, you will be a proactive team player happy to help in order to ensure the smooth running of the campus.
Campus Ambassador Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact within public spaces to assist students, staff, guests and visitors. To include welcoming, registering and escorting visitors when necessary
- Helping all users with wayfinding, knowledge of campus activities and general queries. To include highlighting health and safety and positive behaviour and taking responsibility for signage across campus
- Taking ownership of all aspects of the reception spaces, ensuring the space is always at the highest operational standard
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders across the campus. Establishing cross campus communication to support the delivery of campus activity
- Monitoring spaces and working alongside the Cleaning and Security Services. Carrying out Health and Safety audits and maintaining first aid spaces and equipment as well as reporting near misses, accidents, and injuries
- Other ad hoc duties, including administrative tasks, in order to ensure the smooth running of the campus
Campus Ambassador Key Skills:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, capable of engaging with all stakeholders effectively
- Proactive, friendly with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and good time management expertise
- Proficient in IT
