Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Carbon Options / Futures Brokerto join the London / Dubai orUS office of a globally respected shipping company. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in Carbon Broking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ambition to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities

As a CarbonBroker, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including spot broking, COA (Contracts of Affreightment), and period time-charter activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, future demands, and client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and colleagues across global offices.
  • Operate across various areas of the carbon market.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding and developing the customer base, both within London and internationally.
  • Handledocumentation efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct market analysis, offering clients insights and trade ideas to support their decision-making.
  • Provide clients with regular market updates and insights to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as needed to support business operations.
