Carpenter Multi Trader

BMSL require a Carpenter Multi Trader at a site at Charing Cross.

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction and Installation: Build, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures, such as frames, partitions, joists, rafters, stairways, windows, and doors.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Material Selection: Choose and prepare materials based on project requirements, ensuring high quality and durability.
• Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.
• Finishing Touches: Conduct finishing work such as sanding, staining, and varnishing to achieve a polished and professional look.
• Site Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, and general laborers, to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures, ensuring they remain functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Applicants must have a blue CSCS Card.

Pay rate is 24ph, on going works, hours are 07:30-17:00, paid 10 hours per day via CIS.
