Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Children Missing Education Tracking Officer for a private client based in East London.

In this role, you will identify, track, and support children missing or at risk of missing education, working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies to ensure every child has access to suitable education.

Key Duties:

  • Identify, track, and support children missing or at risk of missing education through outreach and home visits.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, social services, and other agencies to ensure children receive appropriate education.
  • Provide advice and intervention to families, raising awareness of education options and legal responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance and reporting, maintaining records, analysing data, and contributing to strategies to reduce CME.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience working with children and families in education, social care, or related settings, including conducting home visits and outreach.
  • Collaboration with multi-agency partners such as schools, social services, housing, and health services to support children missing education.
  • Case management skills, including maintaining accurate records, writing reports, and using IT systems for data tracking and analysis.
  • Providing advice and advocacy, supporting families on education options, legal responsibilities, and safeguarding issues.

What's on offer:

Salary: £182+per day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 9, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
