Citrix Consultant – 3-month Contract – Remote

My Customer is seeking a Citrix Consultant to join their dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing VDI environments, ensuring seamless delivery of virtual applications and desktops across a large-scale enterprise. You will also provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and integration of end-user technologies, ensuring business continuity and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities for the Citrix Consultant:

  • Citrix & VDI Management: Oversee Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), PVS, Citrix Cloud, FAS, and ADC (NetScaler).
  • Identity & Device Management: Administer Entra ID (SSO, Conditional Access), Group Policy (Active Directory), and Microsoft Intune (compliance & configuration).
  • End-User Support & Optimization: Provide 3rd line ITIL-based support, optimize DesktopNow policies (Appsense), and manage FSLogix for profile containerization.
  • Cloud & Security: Manage Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud (with a focus on AVD) while enforcing cloud security best practices.
  • Performance & Automation: Utilize monitoring tools (ControlUp, UberAgent), conduct troubleshooting (PerfMon, Wireshark), and automate with PowerShell.
  • Strategic Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with vendors, integrate new technologies, maintain documentation, and enhance IT services.
  • Proven experience managing complex Citrix and Windows environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Citrix Consultant will be able to work remotely with potential ad hoc travel to London.
