My client is looking for a Marine Claims Professional with 15+ years experience in the London Market working within Marine Hull & Cargo. Management experience is ideal for this role as well as an excellent knowledge of ECF and the Lloyd's Claims Schemes.

Key Responsibilities

  • 15+ years experience adjusting London Market Marine Hull & Cargo Claims.
  • Ideally 5 years management experience.
  • Reviewing and providing feedback to underwriters and management on claim structure and risk information to enhance underwriting standards within the company.
  • Supervising the recruitment and training of staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with Lloyd's minimum standards and providing support to underwriters and claims adjusters.
  • Managing claims within company guidelines and SLA's.
  • Generating departmental reports on SLA's and metrics on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Attending market meetings and conference calls as needed.
  • Ensuring fair treatment of customers and handling complaints in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitoring staff recruitment and training to meet CPD requirements.
  • Upholding core values in all interactions.
  • Completing any additional projects or tasks as required.
