Clinical Negligence – 6 month FTC – LondonThis is a role to join an in-house team dealing with claims against UK based doctors and dentists. They are looking to recruit a claims handler to join the team on a 6 month fixed term contract. Role OverviewYou will join an existing team which focusses on responding to claims against Doctors and Dentists for clinical negligence. You will handle claims from start to conclusion which involves:

Investigating liability.
Assessing quantum of claims and negotiating settlement.
Assessing indemnity and coverage position throughout the claim.
Managing cost of the claim.
Liaising with medical practitioners and panel solicitors.

Candidate ProfileOur client is looking for candidates with the following:

Previous experience in clinical negligence work in a claims handling or legal role. Candidates with personal injury claims experience will also be considered.
Immediately available or on short notice period.
