This position offers a competitive base salary of £90,000 with a double OTE potential of £180,000. The role is primarily based in London, with flexibility for remote work, though candidates should be able to travel to London as required.

About the Role

As a Cloud Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud and managed services sales across various sectors. This overlay position requires a strategic thinker capable of guiding clients through their cloud transformation journeys. While the role emphasizes new business development, it does not involve cold calling; instead, you will leverage existing relationships and leads.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Engagement: Conduct in-depth discussions with C-suite executives to understand their cloud requirements and position tailored solutions.
  • Sales Achievement: Aim to achieve a gross profit target of £4.5 million, with an average order value of £500,000.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical experts and account managers, to deliver cohesive and effective solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities within the CNI, Defence, Enterprise, and Mid-Market sectors to expand the company's cloud services footprint.

Required Skills

  • Experienced Professional: Demonstrated success in selling hybrid cloud solutions, particularly VMware-based services utilizing vCloud Director.
  • Strategic Communicator: Proficient in engaging with senior stakeholders, with the ability to lead clients through complex cloud adoption strategies.
  • Security Cleared: Possess or be eligible for Security Clearance (SC), with a preference for candidates holding Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV). Must be a British national with continuous residency in the UK for the past five years.
  • Business Development Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities without reliance on cold calling.
