Are you a seasoned commercial insurance professional with a passion for the music and live events industry? The client is looking for a Commercial Insurance Broking Manager to join their specialist team, providing expert support to a dynamic portfolio of clients and mentoring the next generation of insurance professionals.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the music and live events division, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering tailored insurance solutions to clients ranging from independent venues to international touring acts. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical insurance expertise with a passion for the entertainment world.

In addition to managing your own client relationships, you’ll play a pivotal role in the development of the account handling team—offering training, guidance, and day-to-day support to ensure we continue to deliver an exceptional level of service.

Duties:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients in the music and live events sector
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and industry partners
  • Overseeing complex placements and renewal strategies
  • Coaching and mentoring account handlers to support their professional growth
  • Supporting the leadership team in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

What’s needed to be considered:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance broking, ideally with exposure to the events or entertainment sectors
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Experience in leading, mentoring, or developing junior team members
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience dealing with a binder
