Work for a homeless charity as a permanent Communications and Fundraising Manager (£40,692 per annum, South London & hybrid).

As the Communications and Fundraising Manager, you will lead on all communications and fundraising activities.

This is an exciting role that is fast paced and supports all areas of the organisation and their front-line work - it really adds value! The jobholder is responsible for implementing their Fundraising & Communications strategy by managing their small team to deliver this and develop new ways of ensuring their income is sustained and helps us grow.

Fundraising

  • Work with the Area Manager to produce and implement a new development strategy to support their operational aims meet their income generation targets.
  • In collaboration with the Area Manager identify, build and maintain long-term relationships with local partners that generate income, yield pro-bono support and support their community work.
  • Oversee the delivery of annual fundraising campaigns including their Christmas appeal.

Communications

  • Work with the team to deliver regular high-quality multimedia content across all their digital channels including social media, newsletters and our website. That includes blogs, photography, infographics and video.
  • Manage media relations, actively securing opportunities for coverage, responding to enquiries, and handling any crisis comms and responses.
  • Work with their web developer to manage the maintenance and upkeep of our website.

What we look for

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, in the non-profit sector.
  • Expertise in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, successfully delivering long term fundraising goals against budgets in excess of 1.5m.
  • Experience of building and managing relationships with donors, including corporate partners.

  • £40,692 per annum (Inclusive of London Supplement).
  • 5 day working week, 2-3 days on site.
