Rate: Dependent on experience (via Umbrella Company only)About the Role:Our eCommerce client is undergoing a major platform modernisation and is looking for a Contract Elixir Developer to join the team.This role involves working with both Elixir and non-Elixir code, helping to understand the complexities of the current system while driving the transition to a modern Elixir-based platform.You'll need to be comfortable diving into existing code, working with legacy technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring the best solutions forward.If you are experienced with Elixir, thrive in complex environments and are excited about modernising applications, this is the role for you!Tech Stack:? Core Technologies: Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, GraphQL? Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes? Nice to Have: Experience with Perl or PHP, plus strong communication skillsKey Responsibilities:

• Analyse and work with existing non-Elixir code to understand the platform's complexities.
• Contribute to the modernisation effort, implementing new features in Elixir.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand business requirements and align technical solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, ensuring a smooth transition to Elixir.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.
