Cover Supervisor position in Greenwich, Southeast London

We are seeking a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join a highly rated Secondary School in Greenwich from September 2024.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 & KS4. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience in a school with a reputation for excellence.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll deliver engaging, pre-prepared lessons to pupils in KS3 & KS4.
You’ll manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a productive learning environment.
You’ll gain valuable experience presenting to groups of 20-30 students.
This role is ideal for graduates with a minimum 2:1 degree, seeking classroom experience before pursuing a PGCE or teacher training.

About You:

You have a 2:1 degree or higher in a field translatable to KS3-KS4 curriculum (ie Maths, English etc)
Academic strength in a variety of subjects taught in KS3 & KS4.
Experience working with young people or presenting to groups is essential.
You’re confident, adaptable, and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
