Job Title: Cover Supervisor 

Location: Tower Hamlets 

Salary: £23,400 - £27,300 per annum

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of the school by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a school environment, whether you’re a recent graduate or considering a career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
• Support students to stay on task and engage with their learning during lessons.
• Provide additional assistance to students when required and help create a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with staff and students to ensure a cohesive and productive classroom experience.

• Contract Type: Full-time/Part-time/Temporary (flexible to suit your needs)
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable but not essential.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for supporting student achievement.
• A degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
