About the School:
Principal Education is recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded school in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of a dynamic team in a school that fosters a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across KS3 and KS4, providing support to both students and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and support students with their tasks.
- Maintain classroom discipline and support students with their learning activities.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of resources for lessons.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour.
- Support students in achieving their best, helping them stay on task and engaged.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is essential.
- Comfortable covering lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
- Ideally, a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- The ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students and teachers.
- Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in supporting the learning environment.
