Cover Supervisor

Salary: £90 - £120 per day

About the Role:

Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers as a Cover Supervisor.
Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support the teaching and learning of various subjects across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Provide assistance to students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements for Cover Supervisor role:

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
