GSL Education London are seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher (English) to join a dynamic team at a client secondary school in Islington. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Cover Teacher (English) to inspire and support students in their English studies.

Responsibilities of a Cover Teacher:

Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
Support the teaching and learning of English across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to help students improve their English skills.
Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements of a Cover Teacher:

Previous experience as a Cover Teacher (English) or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the English curriculum and teaching methods.
Ability to teach and support students at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
