Job Advert: Full-Time Housekeeper & Cook - KensingtonLocation: Kensington, London & AscotSalary: £45,000 per annumStart Date: ASAPPosition: Live-Out, Full-Time Monday to FridayOur client, an UHNW family is seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper & Cook to join their team at their London home in Kensington W8. The family, couple with grown children, requires someone who is quick to adapt, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks around the home.Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: General cleaning of the home, laundry, and ironing to a high standard.
- Cooking: Prepare healthy meals for the family when they are in London, including breakfast, lunch, and supper. Meals are focused on healthy options, including salads, fish, and lean meats.
- Shopping: Grocery shopping for the household, ensuring healthy and fresh ingredients are stocked.
- Flower Arranging: If possible, assist with flower deliveries & arrangements to keep the home looking fresh and inviting.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Assist with any other household needs as required by the family.
- Dog Friendly: Family has dogs, so must be comfortable around pets.
Hours & Flexibility:
- Full-time: 5 days a week
- Standard Hours: 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a 2-3 hour break in the afternoon
Must be flexible with hours, especially when the family is in London, as times may vary, (eg earlier start to cover breakfast)Requirements:
- Good spoken English communication skills
- Previous experience as a housekeeper and cook in a private home
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Flexibility in hours and adaptability to the family's changing schedule
- Must be comfortable with a fast-paced, sometimes demanding environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
