Job Overview

Stanton House is working with a Leading Technology Provider who is looking for a passionate Data Insights Lead to join their business and play a crucial role in shaping the business strategy. The position requires guiding a team in delivering compelling data stories to support growth in the UK and EU markets. The role is based in London offering a hybrid work schedule that includes an on-site presence twice a week. The Data Insights Lead works closely with key stakeholders, including the Chief Growth Officer, contributing to bid win strategies and supporting new business initiatives. By leveraging existing data and insights, the Data Insights Lead aims to enhance business decisions and add value during the bid process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts to extract, process, and analyse data for decision-making and insights into future strategic directions.
  • Develop and implement analytics strategies, models, and reports to support business objectives and contribute to bid win strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Growth Officer and other key stakeholders to support winning new business through compelling data stories.
  • Support UK and EU data growth initiatives by leveraging existing insights to drive impactful business decisions.
  • Communicate data findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, using tools like MS Dynamics, Power BI, and PowerPoint for report generation.
  • Handle divisional performance reviews and maintain high data quality management standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Continuously identify and work on opportunities to improve reporting processes and data quality amidst ambiguous situations.
  • Develop and maintain a network of key contacts to facilitate information exchange and insight gathering.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a data analytics role with a track record of delivering actionable insights, particularly in supporting business growth and bid processes.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools, notably Power BI, and data querying languages, such as SQL.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, including experience with MS Dynamics and PowerPoint for report generation.
  • Ability to translate complex data sets into simple and actionable recommendations and craft compelling data stories.
  • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Knowledgeable in sales metrics, divisional performance reviews, and data quality management.
  • A 'people person' capable of building a strong professional network and effectively communicating with diverse teams.
