Leading provider of janitorial supplies, cleaning consumables, and floor care equipment. Operating from its South-East distribution centre at Lower Sydenham, has a range of customers across many business sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Education and Local Government.
Role Description
We have a permanent vacancy for a reliable and self-motivated Delivery Driver, you will be delivering products in both loose boxes and/or pallets of product to our various customers.
Our customers are based both within Central London and the surrounding Counties and we consider ourselves to be a lot more than just a logistics "box shifter" and as such we require on occasions our Drivers to offer a more personal service by delivering to an individual person or place inside a building rather than just to a delivery deck.
The ideal candidate must be a good communicator - both face to face and over the telephone, patient and well-disciplined to meet our customer needs and demands.
You need to be well organised and able to manage your paperwork both at a Customer's Site and back in our Offices.
Qualifications
* Hold a full, clean driving licence
* Have at least 4 years driving experience
* Experience of driving a 3.5 ton tail lift vehicle
* Experience of driving in Central London
* Excellent communication and IT skills
* Ability to work independently and remotely
The Package
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience plus overtime
* Company pension scheme upon completion of your probationary period
* 37.5 hours per week
* 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
